Objectives

s-X-AIPI aims towards the core functions of the European process industry

with projected improvements in productivity (throughput / output increased by max. 30%), improvement of quality (overall scrap rate reduction of max. 20%), and an improvement of response time (manufacturing cycle -throughput- time reduction 20%).

 



The adoption of the new toolset intents to positively affect greenhouse gases emissions: It is projected that s-X-AIPI will contribute to process industries reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 14,252kt/year.




The project will also work towards reducing generated waste and use of resources, namely material and energy, as well as aim to an increased recycling rate which will put European process industry on a path towards circular manufacturing and re-manufacturing systems and production.
