A new synergy of EU-funded projects on the horizon

Discussions and planning for endorsing the shape of an official cluster are underway among the s-X-AIPI, Circular TwAIn and AIDEAS research projects which have recently joined forces to pave the way towards establishing liaison activities. To clarify the terminology, an official cluster is an association of research projects sharing a common research topic or thematic area. The abovementioned projects all have received funding from the Horizon Europe Programme and focus on using artificial intelligence (AI) as a transformational tool to support circular production in the manufacturing and process industries.

The discussions began on 22 June 2023 and continued on 12 July 2023 during two online meetings in which representatives from the three projects agreed to cooperate on the dissemination and communication aspects of their cutting-edge research, fostering at the same time the exploitation pathway for significant research results. Specifically, opportunities for participating together in significant events within their field and jointly organising various communications actions were identified. This approach ensures their collective research reaches a broader audience and maximises its potential impact.

While the official launch of the cluster is still pending, partners are enthusiastic and optimistic about the prospect of an ongoing and fruitful collaboration. Future meetings are already on the agenda, with the next gathering scheduled for this September.
